Media accreditation for an international Gymnastics event
On this site, we don't use any functionality provided by third parties (for example analytics' programs).
You can usually switch cookies off by adjusting your browser settings to stop it from accepting cookies. Doing so however will likely limit the functionality of ours and a large proportion of the world's websites as cookies are a standard part of most modern websites.
2. Creating an account
In creating a user account on media.gymnastics.sport, you accept that your data will be transmitted to and saved on the servers of the International Gymnastics Federation.
Part of this information – including your profile photo and your press card – will be transmitted to the organiser of the event for which your accreditation has been accepted.
You have access to your data at all times in order to amend it.
3. Information on the lifespan of accreditation requests
For an active account, a record of these requests and their status (on hold, accepted, refused, late) is kept for 17 years (4 Olympic cycles + 1 year).
For staff working on site for a television company, their records are kept for 5 years (1 Olympic cycle + 1 year).
4. Deleting your account
This functionality will be available from January 15, 2020 with the new version of the system.
You can request the deletion of your account at any time. Your data will be kept for a period of one year before it is deleted permanently.
5. Sending of emails related to events
It is essential to have an email address in order to log in to and manage your private account. During the event for which your accreditation has been accepted, you will agree to receive emails
related to the organisation of the event, the programme and the sporting activities.
Aside from the delivery of the digital magazine that covers the event which you attended, there will be no emails sent to your address from 72 hours after the end of the event.
